Bronwen Duncan

These beautiful pen and ink drawings were rescued from a skip by a local resident in Roundhay, Leeds.

With the family's permission the prints have been donated to Friends of Roundhay Park because of their subject matter.

Sadly, nothing is known about the artist as the family has moved away from the area.

Friends of Roundhay Park invited The English Art Co. to publish a series of prints from these pen and ink drawings, a total of 20 different images of the park, all a limited edition of 200 Artist's Proofs.

This project started over a year ago with Friends of Roundhay Park and The English Art Co. meeting, the EACo. scanning, artworking and preparing the images, test prints and then framing.

We’re delighted to now bring you a framed selection of these Artist's Proofs (edition of 200) to exhibit here at the “Roundhay Park - Celebrating 150 Years show” - as well as the open edition framed and unframed prints. They’re all available here at the gallery, online and to order in various sizes.

All proceeds go back to Friends of Roundhay Park.

This is an ongoing project. There are 20 versions of the Artists Proofs in total; 10 are available now, 10 to follow, and all are available as these Artist's Proofs, framed and as open edition prints.
